Dream Makers Youth Foundation hosts several events throughout the year to provide opportunities for our children to engage in recreational activities, increase community exposure of our organization, improve community awareness about the abilities and needs of children with special needs, and to raise money for our much-needed and appreciated programs.

Celebrity Wheelchair
Basketball Jam
|
DMYF has hosted its annual Celebrity Wheelchair Basketball Jam since 2004. This star-studded event is a fast-paced game of basketball where local celebrities play wheelchair basketball in loaner chairs with and against disabled athletes.

Casino Night & Auction

Every November, Dream Makers Youth Foundation hosts its annual Casino Night & Auction, an elegant, black-tie affair, where DMYF supporters make contributions while playing casino games, and bidding on live and silent auction items.

Knights of Columbus Tootsie
Roll Drive

Since 2005, the St. Thomas Knights of Columbus has designated Dream Makers Youth Foundation as the recipient of the funds raised during their annual Tootsie Roll Drive. DMYF is very grateful for the Knights of Columbus, and their organizer of the Tootsie Roll Drive, Andy Kaiser, for their hard work and dedication to helping children with special needs.

Holiday Party

Since 2008, Dream Makers Youth Foundation has hosted an annual Holiday Party. Every year has been a huge success as our kids enjoyed decorating cookies, getting holiday tattoos, and making Christmas tree decorations; they also receive a gift from Santa himself!
